This year's Cinema of Transformation invites reflection on the foundations upon which our world of tomorrow will be built and poses many questions.
Will we dare to make revolutionary changes that could forever alter our lives and our planet? 🌎
Will we focus on innovations that allow us to better utilize what we already have?
To look forward, must we not first look back? ❓
How quickly do our building blocks become outdated and where do they go after their expiration date?
Does oblivion really mean the end?
The films presented create a shared narrative about our relationships with things and the environment, ultimately placing you before yet another, perhaps the most important question: what values do we want to build our future on?
The Wrocław Film Foundation, a partner of the festival's cinema program, aims to strengthen Wrocław, the entire Lower Silesia region, and Poland as an important center for the presentation and promotion of documentary and feature films, along with elements of debates, creative meetings, and discussions. So far, it has realized and co-realized many film projects – film screenings, film workshops, film festivals – including the Festival of Films about the City and Architecture MIASTOmovie and the Spectrum Film Festival. It has also collaborated with us at the Transformation Festival in 2022 and 2023.
