Join us for the next edition of the Jazz Fort series. In the intimate space of Fort Sokolnickiego we will host one of the most outstanding jazz guitarists in Europe: Krzysia Górniak. She will be joined on stage by Michał Jaros (double bass) and Marcin Jahr (drums).

Krzysia Górniak – composer, producer, arranger and philosopher, gifted with an extraordinary artistic personality, is a contemporary representative of humanism. Krzysia Górniak is broadly educated and has been involved in music since her earliest years. She was the first female guitarist at the Jazz Department of “Bednarska” – a jazz guitar class was opened there specifically for her. Since 2012 she has run independent artistic, concert and publishing activities. Her playing style combines virtuosity with subtle femininity. The artist moves freely across various musical conventions, drawing inspiration from many genres.

How do you get to us?

• Nearest stops: Plac Wilsona (metro, buses, trams) – about 5–7 minutes on foot, approach through the park
• Access via a hardened, even park path; a longer route includes stairs near Prochownia – shorter route available
• Along the park there are wide sidewalks and crossings with lowered curbs
• Paid parking spaces are available nearby
• No designated parking space for people with disabilities directly at the venue
