    About the event

We enter relationships hoping to be each other's support and companions on life's journey. Unfortunately, many couples, after the initial period of infatuation and love, gradually get stuck in an unfavorable pattern of mutual behaviors that weaken the sense of trust, safety, and cooperation. As a result, the couple experiences less emotional and physical closeness, and it becomes increasingly difficult for partners to enjoy a relationship that once provided shelter, excitement, and hope for a good future. This happens because you have been swept up in a whirlpool of misunderstandings, unspoken words, silence, or frustration. Our workshop is an opportunity to break free from this exhausting pattern. We offer you an experience during which you can learn how to jointly strengthen your sense of cooperation, mutual understanding, and safety, allowing you to fully enjoy your relationship and creatively use the differences between you. Our workshop is based on the knowledge and methods of the highly effective couples therapy model: EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples). It was developed and expanded by Dr. Sue Johnson, who is also the author of our workshop scenario, based on her book "Hold Me Tight." During the workshop—with the support of the facilitators—you will experience seven conversations that will help you better understand each other, take care of your sense of safety, and inspire you to cooperate for joy and comfort in your relationship. During the meeting, you will learn why you get caught in unfavorable patterns. Most importantly, we will present you with seven conversations that address key areas of your romantic relationship. Each conversation will be presented, discussed, and you will be able to have it in a safe atmosphere and with the support of the facilitators. This will allow you to experience the transformative power of each of these dialogues. As a result, you will gain knowledge and tools on how to break the deadlock in difficult moments and work together for your relationship, which can be a source of support, satisfaction, and happiness. Our workshop is for you if: - you feel you don't understand each other, and communication used to be easier, - it's hard for you to spend time together, you feel lonely, - you feel overwhelmed and lack freedom, - one of you doesn't feel important to the other, - you want to get to know yourselves and each other better, - you can't end a dispute in a meaningful way, - you are losing your emotional bond, - there is criticism and exhausting conflicts between you, - you lack intimacy and emotional and physical closeness, - you have stopped appreciating what each of you brings to the relationship, - difficult topics keep coming up in your conversations. CONTRAINDICATIONS Our workshop is NOT intended for couples in which: - one partner has decided to break up, - there is emotional or physical violence, - one person is simultaneously involved in a relationship with someone else, - one or both people are experiencing serious mental health problems, - there has been a recent affair, - one or both people are struggling with active, severe addiction. The workshops help to understand the universal difficulties that arise in relationships. Therefore, we address them, also in the materials, to all couples, regardless of the gender of the people involved. If you have any doubts, we invite you to a consultation during which we can determine whether the workshop is a suitable proposal for your couple. ℹ️ Detailed information: 🕒 The workshop lasts two days and includes a total of 16 hours of classes (9:30-17:30). During this time, we provide breaks for hot and cold drinks and lunch (included in the workshop price). 📝 Sign up by filling out the form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19yQ44XsSBSjN80o2R4EMfQwQw8QwQwQwQwQwQwQw/edit 📧 kontakt@mentalia.pl 📍 workshop location: ul.
