You will learn and acquire practical skills in using currents to improve the therapeutic process in various dysfunctions: - after cleft lip and palate surgery - muscle tone disorders - drooling - peripheral dyslalia - nasal speech – rhinolalia - motor aphasia - dysarthria - exudative otitis media - hearing loss - problems with taking, processing, and swallowing food - choking during eating and drinking - after adenoidectomy, etc. This therapy is an effective supplement to speech therapy and orthodontic treatment. The electrostimulation procedure, thanks to appropriately selected parameters, supports comprehensive treatment of patients with speech disorders. Electrodiagnostics will allow you to assess the excitability of nerves and muscles and apply the appropriate therapeutic process. It involves the flow of very low-intensity current through the muscles to improve their function. Electrotherapy affects the entire human articulatory apparatus, supporting its operation. The procedure stimulates muscle fibers to work, resulting in increased strength, mass, and muscle volume.
