    About the event

Swedes. Warmth in the North – 10 years after the book's release 📅 October 8, 2025, 5:30 PM 📍 Grochoteka, Grochowska 297 Author meeting with Katarzyna Molęda, hosted by Agnieszka Drozd. Admission to the event is free. What does life look like today in a country long associated with equality, calm, and social harmony? Have the ten years since the release of the book "Swedes. Warmth in the North" changed Sweden's face and added new shades? We invite you to a unique meeting with Katarzyna Molęda, the author of this bestselling publication. The conversation will be led by Agnieszka Drozd, a journalist from Radio Trójka. Ten years after the book's release, the author will revisit her observations and share what has changed in Sweden, what remains unchanged, and what surprises more than ever. Thanks to our guests, without stereotypes and with a large dose of humor, we will peek into Swedish homes, shops, offices, and clubs to examine the everyday life of Swedes. A lively and energetic conversation awaits us, one that may surprise and enrich our perspective on the social realities of the North. - Katarzyna Molęda: - Sociologist, intercultural expert, Scandinavian studies specialist. - Trainer, facilitator, designer of educational processes. - Author of articles on social and cultural topics and the book "Swedes.
