Dear all! We warmly invite you to the eighth edition of auditions for the OFFicyna Dance Studio team. In the 2025/2026 season, the team will be led by Jarek Kruczek. WHAT WILL WE DO? Jarek Kruczek / team choreographer / and Katarzyna Kleszcz / team artistic director / are looking for individuals who wish to develop their skills, talent, and artistic personality in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The main goal and purpose of the team is to creatively explore ways to express oneself through the timeless art form of dance. The culmination of the work will be a performance, allowing each participant to feel the satisfaction of their efforts on stage in front of an audience. "In my opinion, the beauty of dance does not lie in mastering a particular technique to perfection, but in discovering oneself and one's body. The body is our tool. A well-mastered tool gives us the opportunity for rapid development in artistic directions or even in everyday life. In my view, good self-awareness provides a lot of freedom. As a teacher, I don't focus on replicating movements but on bringing out the potential and qualities I see in someone. Good technique without heart and awareness is empty and boring. Dance is expression, not just a sequence of pre-arranged and executed movements. That's why I emphasize an individual approach because I believe everyone has something beautiful within them. Technique will come sooner or later, but the most important thing is to never forget why we started dancing." Krakowska 41 The audition will include a contemporary dance class and learning a short choreography segment. The audition will be led by Jarek Kruczek. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? - Creative and open individuals willing to work in a group with experience in various dance techniques such as: - contemporary dance - classical dance - partnering - improvisation. 💰 COST (closed group): The audition for the team is free. The cost of participating in the closed group classes (from September 2025 - June 2026) includes: - 4 hours of classes per week: * Wednesday 20:00-22:00 / ul. Krakowska 41 * Friday 20:00-22:00 / ul. Krakowska 41 - Final performance concluding the season - 480 PLN/month. * The monthly fee is fixed, independent of the number of classes in a month or participant absences from September 2025 to June 2026. This fee accounts for days off (public holidays, Christmas breaks, winter holidays) and does not change based on the number of classes in a month or participant absences. WITH WHOM? JAREK KRUCZEK Choreographer and dancer, graduated from XXX Artistic High School in Krakow and earned a bachelor's degree from the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam in 2018, one of the world's top dance schools. In Poland, he collaborated with the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow and the Song of the Goat Theatre in Wrocław. Outside Poland, he worked on projects with Scapino Dance Company in Rotterdam, the National Opera in Amsterdam, Orkater Theatre in Amsterdam, House of Makers in Amsterdam, De Nederlandse Reisopera in Enschede, the National Opera in Oslo, Basel Theatre in Switzerland, Salzburg Festspiele in Austria, and many others. He trained under the guidance of teachers such as: - Ivan Perez - Julio Cesar Inglesias Ungo (Ultima Vez) - Heidi Vierthaler (Forsythe company) - Igor Podsiadly and Camilo Chapela (both Club Guy & Roni) - Vivianne Rodrigues de Brito - Lyat Waysbort and Yaniv Abraham as well as Ohad Naharin (Batsheva dance company) - Witold Jurewicz - Eryk Makohon (Cracow Dance Theater) - Jesus de Vega and Vincent Colomes (both ICK Amsterdam) - Valentina Campora - Guy Nader and Maria Campora (GN/MC) - Loïc Perela (Scapino Ballet) - Gyula Berger (Zero Ballet) - Heather Ware (Leine & Roebana) - Anita Podkowa (Witkacy Theater) - Roser Espinoza Lopez - Chloe Beillevaire. From 2025, dancer at Carrodunum Dance Company. He conducts dance workshops in Polish or English for children and adults at art camps or stationary dance schools.
