Anita POSZUKIWANIA workshops idea The POSZUKIWANIA project began with a closed group that worked regularly for two seasons in the field of contemporary dance, floorwork, and improvisation. By analyzing numerous topics and movement tasks, a base of creative data was created, shaping my teaching methods. After two years, the closed group transformed into a cyclical workshop format open to a broader group of dancers. My practice during the workshop largely relies on group experience, which we then transfer to solo (individual) work. One of the ideas that emerged from my years of practice is that the workshop is a group experience. We strive to draw from being in this group and the presence of others. This thought is meant to add courage and a sense of belonging. (Regardless of the differences between us, during training, we find common ground, and we are equal and close to each other.) We work in larger and smaller groups, as well as in pairs, according to specific tasks. This allows dancers to experience not only movement but also from the perspective of an observer. Participants perform tasks but also have the opportunity to observe the same situations from the side, from a different perspective. This makes their work multidimensional and enriched with new insights. We learn to receive stimuli from the outside, from other people, as well as from events, spaces, and sounds. We experience everything by maximizing our physicality. We seek different qualities aimed at enriching our movement language. We work on making movement decisions and being consistent in the actions performed. POSZUKIWANIA has also become a platform for others to share their ideas, methods, and practices. This is how the unique edition POSZUKIWANIA x Piękni People was born. Under this name, three events have already taken place, and more are planned!
