COURSE GOAL: The course prepares trainers, behaviorists, and advanced dog professionals (as well as enthusiasts wishing to expand their knowledge) for effective work with dogs functioning in environments with high stimulus density — such as urban spaces, shopping center areas, parks, public transport, or urbanized zones. Participants will learn to recognize signs of emotional overload, design adaptive and training strategies, and support dog owners in preparing their animals for safe and comfortable movement in urban conditions. The course is intended for dog trainers, behaviorists, zoopsychologists, and advanced dog professionals or enthusiasts wishing to expand their knowledge about adaptation and well-being of dogs in urban environments. Class format: lecture-analytical Script and forms provided by the school Training program: - Urban environment as a space of behavioral challenges - Neurobiology of emotional reactions to environmental stimuli - Most common behavioral difficulties of dogs in highly stimulating environments - Designing functional training and adaptive strategies - Emotional well-being and lifestyle of the dog in the context of exposure to stimuli LEARNING OUTCOMES: - analyzes the impact of environmental stimuli typical for urban spaces on the dog's emotions and behavior - recognizes stress reactions and behavioral problems related to sensory overload - designs an adaptive and training plan preparing the dog to function in a highly stimulating environment - understands basic neurobiological mechanisms of stress, habituation, and overstimulation - advises owners on supporting the dog in new situations, planning exposure to stimuli, and stress prevention 📍 Location: TEB Edukacja ul.
