Turbofolk Night Fever | Klub Festiwalowy FolkOFF/ON

On the first spring evening – March 21 at 21:00 – we invite you to Hala Koszyki for a dance equinox night. This event accompanies the FolkOFF/ON 2026 festival (March 20–22).

The turbofolk dance set will be provided by DESYG – a DJ from Gdańsk who began his musical journey at a music school in Vilnius and has been active on the Tricity scene since 2018. He has played at venues such as Ziemia, Protokultura, Crackhouse, Drugi Dom, Carnivale and P29. He presented his sets at Welur Festival in Hel and X Festival in Płock. He is the organizer of the Tabatta event series, combining electronic music with African, exotic and tropical elements.

The festival and accompanying event are organized by Terminal Kultury Gocław and the Woda na Młyn collective.

FolkOFF/ON 2026

North–South is the motto of the second edition of the Warsaw Off Folk Festival presenting contemporary movement forms inspired by tradition. The project reveals a dialogue between cultural heritage and modern choreographic languages – folk, contemporary, jazz and new dance – creating a meeting space for artists, creators and audiences. The festival promotes contemporary interpretations of tradition-inspired dance, integrates the dance community, develops audiences’ cultural competences and supports the creative development of independent artists, amateurs and professionals. The second edition of the Off Folk Festival FolkOFF/ON: North–South is inspired by the cultures of regions from the Baltic to the Balkans – from sea to mountains.

The festival program on March 20–22 will also include:

• a screening of a film by E. Kusturica
• a concert by the duo SEKUNDa
• the performance “Polterabend 2.0” by Woda na Młyn combined with live music by the band Bubliczki
• the performance “Barbaricum” by the Kielce Dance Theatre with music by the band DYM and guest appearances by dancers from Woda na Młyn
• handicraft workshops (Witchcare), vocal workshops (Wiola Jakubiec, SEKUNDa) and plant workshops (Rozkwitnie)
• an ethnobotanical walk around Gocław
