The Nitkomaniacy Foundation invites you to the second open meeting in 2026!
This time we invite you to create something that will bring a smile to every face and give us wings for the rest of winter. We will sew together a funny, energetic heart-shaped brooch that literally looks out at the world! Our hearts will have their own character thanks to expressive eyes and small, charming hands.
This will not be an ordinary ornament – it is a little everyday companion that will remind us how important it is to enjoy making things and to share good energy with others.
What awaits you?
- Joint sewing: we will create unique brooches with “personality.” The project combines classic embroidery with playful form, giving an amazing final effect.
- Club atmosphere: we guarantee a creative vibe, time for conversations and exchanging inspirations while working.
- Help and support: we provide full expert support; we will suggest which stitches to use and prepare ready patterns for embroidery.
What to bring?
- Cotton or linen fabric (preferably in various shades of red)
- Embroidery threads (floss, perle cotton)
- Needles
- An embroidery hoop (will make working on details easier and faster)
- Pillow stuffing (a little is enough to give the brooch softness and shape)
- A brooch back or a safety pin
