The Stefan Gierowski Foundation invites you to a word-and-sound performative tour by Radio Grounding of the exhibition “Painting Is Joy — even priming the canvas is a great celebration!” (100th anniversary of Stefan Gierowski’s birth).
The event invites you to immerse yourself in a gallery of sound-interpretations and word-associations. Radio Grounding will build soundscapes using phrases and miniatures — echoes, covers and dialogues with the world of Stefan Gierowski’s painterly spaces.
Radio Grounding is a collective audio play exploring paths of social repair, ecological regeneration and radical well-being. Through text, voice, movement and sound they create a space of shared listening and coexistence in the face of crisis. The collective, founded in 2020, consists of: Agnieszka Cieszanowska, Anna (Jurdzi) Jurgielewicz, Witek Dąbrowski.

The exhibition “Painting Is Joy...” takes place as part of the Stefan Gierowski jubilee; in May 2025 the artist would have celebrated his 100th birthday.
