Reflections on Choral Studies. Lecture before the concert of the "Don Diri Don" Choir — Prof. Dr. Hab. Dariusz Dyczewski

Prof. Dr. Hab. Dariusz Dyczewski – professor at the Academy of Arts in Szczecin, former rector of that university, choirmaster and conductor, graduate of the Department of Music Education at the Poznań Academy of Music. Founder and conductor of the Children’s Choir of the Szczecin University of Technology Don-Diri-Don and of the Boys’ and Men’s Choir of TVP-Szczecin PueriCantores.



He has participated in festivals, competitions and music congresses in many countries, winning numerous awards and distinctions. He has given lectures in Austria, Italy and the Canary Islands; he is actively involved as a juror in national and international choral competitions. He serves as President of the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras. In 2006 he was appointed artistic director of the International Festival of Choral Song in Międzyzdroje. He is the director of the private music schools of Leonard Piwonia in Szczecin.
