MIT TON Festival Auditions 2026 — Songs of Henryk Wars
About the event
Dom Kultury Dorożkarnia invites you to the 18th MIT TON song festival. This year the festival’s patron is composer Henryk Wars, one of the most outstanding creators of popular music in interwar Poland and a respected film and jazz composer.
The festival is aimed at children and youth competing in 3 age categories:
- Children 7–10 years old
🎯 born between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2019 - Youth 11–14 years old
🎯 born between 1 January 2012 and 31 December 2015 - Youth 15–18 years old and 19 years old (if attending a 5‑year post-primary school)
🎯 15–18 years: born between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2011
🎯 19 years: born between 1 January and 31 December 2007 (condition: student of a 5‑year post-primary school)
Vocal ensembles and duets in any category may also participate in the competition.
🎵 Participation in the competition requires preparing two songs in Polish, including one mandatory piece composed by the patron — Henryk Wars.
