That means you’re ready to compete in the Challengers Trophy – a series of tournaments for intermediate players who want to feel real competition! 📍 When and where? Tournaments are held every 2 weeks on Saturdays at 16:00 at the Shooters billiard club at 44 Powsińska Street in Warsaw. 🎱 Game format: - 8-ball variant - group stage + knockout stage - all matches up to 3 won games - the series includes 15 tournaments 🏆 Ranking and Masters: Ranking points are awarded for each place – regular play gives you a chance to advance to the top. The top 16 in the ranking after the series qualify for the Masters Challengers Trophy, where additional prizes and a prestigious title await! 🎁 Prizes: - each tournament: trophies + vouchers for billiard games - final ranking: club memberships, shopping vouchers, and game hours - Masters: even more attractive prizes and the satisfaction of being among the best! 💸 Entry fee: 50 PLN 📝 Registration: via the Cuescore portal or SMS to 517 648 279 (until 15:00 on the day of the tournament). Organizer The organizer of the Challengers Trophy tournament is the Shooters billiard club at 44 Powsińska Street in Warsaw and Black Ball Events. 2. Date and place Tournaments are held every 2 weeks on Saturdays from 16:00 at the Shooters billiard club, 44 Powsińska Street, Warsaw. In exceptional situations, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the tournament after prior notification of the players. 3. Game system and ranking 3.1 Tournaments are played in the 8-ball variant. 3.2 Each tournament consists of a group stage and a knockout stage. Players are assigned to groups randomly. The number of groups depends on the number of participants. - Group stage – matches up to 3 won games. - Knockout stage – matches up to 3 won games. 3.2.1 Advancement rules from the group: - the top two places from each group advance - if two players have the same number of wins, the result of their direct match decides - if three or more players have the same number of wins, the following are considered in order: a) results of direct matches (mini-table) b) game difference in matches between these players (mini-table) c) game difference in all group matches (main table) - In the first round of the knockout stage, group winners are seeded. Players from second places are drawn to them according to the scheme: A1 – C2, B1 – D2, C1 – A2, D1 – B2. - In case of higher attendance, the number of groups and knockout rounds may be increased. 3.3 The Challengers Trophy series includes 15 tournaments. 3.4 Points are awarded for places in individual tournaments: Place Points - 1: 100 - 2: 90 - 3–4: 80 - 5–8: 70 - 9–12: 60 - 13–16: 50 - 17–20: 40 - 21+: 30 3.5 The top 16 in the ranking after the series qualify for the Masters Challengers Trophy. 4. Participation conditions Intermediate-level billiard players who pay the entry fee may participate, except for: - former and current players of the 1st and 2nd Polish Billiard League and the Ekstraliga - experienced amateurs 5. Registration Registration is via the tournament website on the Cuescore portal or by SMS to 517 648 279 until 15:00 on the day of the tournament. 6. Entry fee The entry fee for the tournament is 50 PLN. 7. Prizes Single tournament: - 1st place: trophy + voucher for 2 hours of billiard play - 2nd place: voucher for 2 hours of billiard play Final ranking (after 15 tournaments): - 1st place: trophy + silver membership for a month of play at Shooters club - 2nd place: trophy + voucher for 200 PLN to the Shooters billiard store - 3rd place: trophy + voucher for 5 hours of play at Shooters billiard club + prizes in the Masters Challengers Trophy tournament 8. Final provisions Matters not regulated by these rules are decided by the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules. Alcohol consumption is prohibited in the club. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to intoxicated persons or those behaving contrary to club rules. A participant taking part in the tournament accepts the rules and agrees to the processing of their image and personal data for marketing purposes of the Shooters club and Black Ball Events.
