Do you already have experience gained in the Freshman Challenge or other amateur tournaments? That means you're ready to compete in the Challengers Trophy – a series of tournaments for intermediate players who want to feel real competition! 📅 When and where? Tournaments are held every 2 weeks on Saturdays at 4:00 PM at the Shooters billiard club, located at Powsińska 44 in Warsaw. 🎱 Game format: - 8-ball variant, - group stage + knockout stage, - all matches up to 3 winning games, - the series includes 15 tournaments. 🏆 Ranking and Masters: - Points are awarded for each placement – regular play gives you a chance to climb to the top. - The top 16 players in the ranking at the end of the series qualify for the Masters Challengers Trophy, where additional prizes and a prestigious title await! 🎁 Prizes: - per tournament: trophies + vouchers for billiard games, - final ranking: club memberships, shopping vouchers, and playing hours, - in Masters: even more attractive prizes and the satisfaction of being among the best! 💰 Entry fee: 50 PLN 📱 Registration: via the Cuescore portal or SMS at 517 648 279 (until 3:00 PM on the day of the tournament). Organizer: The organizer of the Challengers Trophy tournament is the Shooters billiard club at Powsińska 44 in Warsaw and the company Black Ball Events. 2. Date and location: Tournaments are held every 2 weeks on Saturdays starting at 4:00 PM at the Shooters billiard club, Powsińska 44 in Warsaw. In exceptional situations, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the tournament after notifying the players in advance. 3. Game system and ranking: - Tournaments are played in the 8-ball variant. - Each tournament consists of a group stage and a knockout stage. Players are randomly assigned to groups. The size of the groups depends on the number of participants. - Group stage – matches up to 3 winning games. - Knockout stage – matches up to 3 winning games. - Advancement rules from the group: - the top two places from each group advance, - in case of a tie between two players, the result of their direct match decides, - in case of three or more players with the same number of wins, the following are considered: a) results of direct matches (small table), b) game difference in matches between these players (small table), c) game difference in all group matches (large table). - In the first round of the knockout stage, group winners are seeded. Players from second places are drawn to them according to the scheme: A1 – C2, B1 – D2, C1 – A2, D1 – B2. - In case of higher attendance, the number of groups and knockout rounds may be increased. - The Challengers Trophy series includes 15 tournaments. - Points are awarded for placements in individual tournaments: - 1st place: 100 points, - 2nd place: 90 points, - 3rd–4th place: 80 points, - 5th–8th place: 70 points, - 9th–12th place: 60 points, - 13th–16th place: 50 points, - 17th–20th place: 40 points, - 21+ place: 30 points. - The top 16 players in the ranking at the end of the series qualify for the Masters Challengers Trophy. 4. Participation conditions: Intermediate-level billiard players who pay the entry fee can participate, excluding: - former and current players of the 1st and 2nd Polish Billiard League and the Extraleague, - experienced amateurs. 5. Registration: Registration is done via the tournament page on the Cuescore portal or via SMS at 517 648 279 until 3:00 PM on the day of the tournament. 6. Entry fee: The entry fee for the tournament is 50 PLN. 7. Prizes: Single tournament: - 1st place: trophy + voucher for 2 hours of billiard play, - 2nd place: voucher for 2 hours of billiard play. Final ranking (after 15 tournaments): - 1st place: trophy + silver membership for a month of play at the Shooters club, - 2nd place: trophy + voucher for 200 PLN to the Shooters billiard store, - 3rd place: trophy + voucher for 5 hours of play at the Shooters billiard club. + prizes in the Masters Challengers Trophy tournament. 8. Final provisions: In matters not regulated by these rules, the organizer decides. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules. Alcohol consumption is prohibited in the club. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to intoxicated persons or those behaving contrary to the club's rules. Participants taking part in the tournament accept the rules and agree to the processing of their image and personal data for marketing purposes of the Shooters club and Black Ball Events.
