Beginner Cup - Monday amateur 8-ball tournaments

Beginner Cup is an 8-ball tournament dedicated to beginner players. The competitions take place every Monday at club 147 Break. Join the next edition of the series — test your skills against other amateurs. Here everyone has a chance to win!

Rules:

1. Organizer
The organizer of the Beginner Cup is Black Ball Events and the 147 Break billiard club.

2. Date and place

Tournaments take place every Monday at the 147 Break billiard club, ul. Nowogrodzka 84/86, Warsaw, from 19:00. The organizer reserves the right to cancel a tournament in exceptional situations after informing players in advance.

- Tournaments are played in the 8-ball discipline.
- Each tournament consists of a group stage and a knockout stage; players are assigned to groups randomly.
- Matches are played to 2 winning frames.
- Advance to the knockout stage: the top two places in the group.
- In case of equal number of wins and frame balance, the following apply in order:
- direct matches between the concerned players (points),
- frame difference in matches between those players,
- frame difference in all group matches.
- In the first round of the knockout stage group winners will be seeded; second-place players will be paired to them as follows: A1 – C2, B1 – D2, C1 – A2, D1 – B2.

- 21- : 30

The top 16 of the final ranking qualify for the season-ending BEGINNER MASTERS tournament.

- Open tournament for beginner billiards players upon payment of the entry fee.
- Current and former players of the 1st and 2nd Polish Billiard League and Ekstraliga are excluded.
- The organizer reserves the right to assign a handicap in exceptional situations.

Entry fee: 50 zł.

- Winner: medal and a voucher for 2 hours of billiard play.
- 2nd place: voucher for 2 hours of billiard play.
- Additionally, material prizes and cups are planned for places in the final ranking and in the Masters tournament.

6. Additional information
- The Beginner Cup is a ranking tournament of the Warsaw Pool Tour series (one-star level) and counts towards the Warsaw Ranking.
- In matters not regulated by the rules, the organizer's arrangements apply.
- The organizer reserves the right to change the rules.
- A participant taking part in the tournament simultaneously accepts the rules and agrees to the processing of their image and personal data for marketing purposes of club 147 Break and Black Ball Events.
