The exhibition will feature over 20 photographs showing the rich history, religious traditions, holy sites, and contemporary challenges faced by indigenous Christians — descendants of the world’s first Christian communities. The exhibition shows how faith and attachment to the land permeate the everyday life of this extraordinary community, explaining, among other things, the situation of Christians in the Holy Land, what the separation wall in Bethlehem is, and why there is a “Door of Humility” in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
The exhibition will be of interest both to those who have traveled to the Holy Land and would like to relive that journey and to those who have never been there. Due to the ongoing war, the subject may also attract people interested in the global political situation.
