
The 13th edition of Lessons with Masters of Reportage and Journalism at the Capital Center for Cultural Education will be an opportunity to personally meet and learn the working methods of six outstanding authors. Participation in the Lesson requires familiarizing yourself with a fragment, the entire book, or the works of the reporter who is the subject of the workshop/meeting. Individual students as well as entire classes or groups can apply to participate in the Lessons. Meetings take place at the headquarters of the Capital Center for Cultural Education, ul. Jezuicka 4, Old Town. The workshops are dedicated to young people (13-19 years old) from capital city schools and those living in Warsaw. The project is financed from the budget of the City of Warsaw. She deals with topics related to social history, women's emancipation, and social inequalities in Poland. She collaborates with the Institute of Reportage and teaches at the Polish School of Reportage. Author of press articles and books, nominated for the Ryszard Kapuściński Award for Literary Reportage, the Nike Literary Award, and the Newsweek Teresa Torańska Award for the book "Nie hańbi" (2017) about the Polish labor market. Her reportage on transport exclusion "Nie zdążę" (2019) was awarded the Grand Press Reportage Book of the Year, and the biographical essay "Krahelska. Krahelskie" (2021) was nominated for the Warsaw Literary Award. Her latest book on unpaid work "Szyjąc" (2025) is a collection of miniature essays about everyday life. Project supervisor: Bożena Dudko (a Polish studies graduate) has been conducting journalism classes at SCEK since 2020. From 1993-2005, she worked in the reportage department of "Gazeta Wyborcza". Poet of reportage. From 2005-2016, she managed the archive of Ryszard Kapuściński, of whom she was the last assistant. From 2010-2020, she was the secretary of the jury of the international Ryszard Kapuściński Award for Literary Reportage.
