Film classes are a combination of modern artistic, social, and media education, in which film serves both as a creative tool and as a starting point for developing future competencies. The program is based on working with short films, stop-motion animation, and audiovisual materials, as well as workshop activities that help participants understand the filmmaking process—from idea to finished product. The foundation of the classes is practical learning of film craft, including: - creating scripts and film concepts, - directing, cinematography, and working with the camera, - basics of makeup and acting, - principles of image and sound editing using widely available programs, - working with stop-motion animation—from building sets and characters to editing the finished cartoon, - using source materials (photos, texts, recordings) in creating your own visual message. The classes are enriched with components of social and media education, so participants learn: - conscious use of social media, - creating valuable audiovisual content for online publication (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok), - critical thinking and analysis of visual messages, - teamwork, communication, and co-creating projects in a group, - recognizing and counteracting phenomena such as cyberbullying or media manipulation. The workshop program includes flexible lesson scenarios tailored to the group's needs. The social and artistic part is based on short films that encourage participants to reflect on their own environment, local community, and interpersonal relationships. The classes are interdisciplinary—combining film with visual arts, movement, photography, and drama. Additional thematic modules include, among others: - creating horror films (not just for Halloween), - "Become a YouTuber"—how to create content for social media, - "Rocket in the pocket"—technical and creative activities with rockets, - "Retro toys"—workshops inspired by old children's culture, - "My space—my space in a box"—working with identity and self-expression, - storytelling, the art of telling stories, - school readings adapted to the screen, - internet safety and conscious use of the web. The classes foster creativity, self-confidence, creativity, and the ability to express oneself through image, sound, and movement. Thanks to the use of modern tools and a practical approach, participants gain knowledge they can use both in everyday life and online—creating their own films, animations, and internet content.
