About the event

The date of the tour will be confirmed if this tour topic is selected in the poll on my fan group on WhatsApp.

This event is in Polish; tour in English is here.

The tour's name, referring to Krzysztof Kieślowski's world-famous film, is intentional.

The legendary Kieślowski remains a subject of admiration and numerous film-studies projects from China to Australia, Brazil and Canada. One reason for creating this tour was precisely questions from cinema enthusiasts worldwide about Kieślowski. I have encountered such questions for many years during my Kraków tours. Interestingly, I have often witnessed surprise that Poland does not erect monuments to him… However, well, it's hard to be a prophet in your own land!

The aim of this tour is to present the city’s second, cinematic life. We will see carefully selected scenes from films in the places where they were shot. In addition, this will be an opportunity to tell about around 10 films representative for a large part of the history of Polish cinema.

I am a professional licensed guide in Kraków with 14 years of experience. Besides basic tours and dozens of themed ones, I have also developed a route following the footsteps of "Schindler's List" in Kraków and a tour of the Kraków ghetto tracing Polański and "The Pianist." I also guided at the National Museum for a wonderful temporary exhibition on the work of Andrzej Wajda. For 6 years I have organized regular meetings of the film club good movies with Paweł, where I present Polish masterpieces to an English-speaking audience.

In other words, film tours combine my two passions: cinema and sharing knowledge about Kraków.

Tickets are required. They will be available soon.

See you on the film tour!
