Purpose: To learn what to do to avoid getting into trouble and how to handle a critical situation to return safely from an operation.
Cost: 450 PLN/person gross
Price does not include travel and accommodation costs.
How the training looks:
- 20% theory, 80% practice.
- Lectures in presentation form.
- Training in the most demanding conditions possible to replicate during exercises.
- Use of a specialized obstacle course covering several hundred square meters.
Topics covered:
- Preparation and donning of personal protective equipment and personal gear for work in a "difficult zone".
- Emergency situations: breathing apparatus failure, entanglement, evacuation through tight spaces, etc.
- Algorithm for calling for help.
- Obstacle course simulating movement and evacuation from a "difficult zone".
- Maintaining communication while working in a breathing apparatus.
- Basics of air management.
- Simulation of work under high physical and mental load.
Requirements:
- valid medical examinations
- good physical fitness
- completed training authorizing participation in rescue-firefighting actions
- valid accident insurance (NNW) in the home unit
Necessary equipment:
- special clothing, helmet, balaclava, firefighter boots, firefighting gloves and possibly technical gloves
- breathing apparatus (with a reserve of at least 300 bar of air), equipment with valid tests and approval for work
- motion detector and radio equipped with rescue-firefighting channels
- flashlight
