- For PSP, OSP, ZSP, WSP firefighters, etc., participating in operations requiring work with breathing apparatus.

Where: FireTrap.pl Training Center, Warsaw, ul. Kosmatki 12.

Purpose:
To learn what to do to avoid getting into trouble and how to handle critical situations to return safely from an operation.
Cost: 450 PLN per person gross
Price does not include travel and accommodation costs.
Training format:
- 20% theory, 80% practice.
- Lectures in presentation form.
- Training in the most demanding conditions that can be recreated during exercises.
- An obstacle course of several hundred square meters designed by the organizers.
Topics covered:
- Preparation and donning of personal protective equipment and personal gear for work in a "difficult zone".
- Emergency situations: breathing apparatus failure, entanglement, evacuation through tight spaces, etc.
- Help-calling algorithm.
- Obstacle course simulating movement and evacuation from a "difficult zone".
- Conducting communications while working in breathing apparatus.
- Basics of air management.
- Simulation of work under high physical and mental load.
Requirements:
- current medical examinations,
- good physical fitness,
- completed training authorizing participation in rescue-firefighting operations,
- current accident insurance (NNW) in the home unit.
Required equipment:
- special clothing, helmet, balaclava, firefighter boots, firefighting and possibly technical gloves,
- breathing apparatus (with a minimum reserve of 300 bar of air), equipment with current inspections and approval for work,
- motion detector and radio equipped with rescue-fire channels,
- flashlight.
