    About the event

    For whom:
    For PSP, OSP, ZSP, WSP firefighters, etc., participating in operations that require working with self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).



    When:
    7 February 2026 (Saturday).



    Where:
    FireTrap.pl Training Center, Warsaw, ul. Kosmatki 12

    Purpose:
    To learn what to do to avoid getting into trouble and how to handle critical situations to return safely from an operation.



    Cost:
    450 PLN/person gross
    Price does not include travel and accommodation costs.



    How the training looks:
    20% theory, 80% practice. Lectures in presentation form. Training in the most demanding conditions that can be replicated during exercises. For training we use a specialist obstacle course we designed covering several hundred square meters.



    • Preparation and donning of personal protective equipment and personal gear for work in the “hot zone”.
    • Emergency situations: SCBA failure, entanglement, evacuation through tight spaces, etc.
    • Algorithm for calling for help.
    • Obstacle course simulating movement and evacuation from the “hot zone”.
    • Maintaining communications while working in SCBA.
    • Basics of air management.
    • Simulation of work under heavy physical and mental load.


    • current medical examinations,
    • good physical fitness,
    • completed training authorizing participation in rescue and firefighting operations,
    • current personal accident insurance (NNW) in the home unit.


    • turnout gear, helmet, balaclava, firefighter boots, firefighting and possibly technical gloves,
    • self-contained breathing apparatus (with a minimum reserve of 300 bar of air), equipment with current tests and approval for use,
    • motion alarm and a radio equipped with rescue and firefighting channels,
    • flashlight.
