We warmly invite the entire University of Warsaw community to take part in Women's Day at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, University of Warsaw!
- Debate: „Woman at the university, or conversations about breaking the glass ceiling” – a discussion with representatives of the academic community and public administration about the challenges and development prospects for women in science.
- Panel discussion: „Stereotypes, women, pop culture. From Bareja to memes” – a conversation about how the image of women in culture and the media has changed and how it functions in contemporary pop culture.
- Workshops:
- „The weaker sex? Not necessarily!” – self-defence workshops led by Gabriela Kamińska and Paweł Tomczyk from the Traditional Ju-Jitsu School Yawara.
- „what are you conveying” – healthy eating workshops with Agata Gwiazdowska, culinary expert and promoter of nutrition education.
The event will be a space for joint reflection on the role of women in science, public life and culture, as well as an opportunity for integration of the University of Warsaw academic community.
