WORKSHOP "TOWARDS FATHER AND MOTHER" — CANCELED

Even as adults, we can carry a wounded child inside us. That child needs our inner care. In the workshops we help tend childhood wounds and strengthen the inner caretaker.

Are you tired of fights in close relationships? Do you feel lonely? Do you dream that the critical voice in your head would fall silent? Do you long for more agency, power, money? The workshop is an opportunity to recognize where our difficulties come from and learn how to take care of yourself.

Very often our blocks, conflicts and limitations are related to lack of care in childhood. That lack could have been expressed as violence, criticism or indifference — in various forms: from physical violence and shouting, through mocking and belittling, to neglect and emotional coldness.

When a child does not receive care, acceptance and love, they suffer. They close up, carry anger, fear or shame, which can affect relationships and functioning in adult life.

Stop for a moment and check what influence your relationships with your parents have on your current life. A clue can be the emotions that your parents still evoke in you: fear, anger, shame, a sense of loyalty that prevents forming satisfying relationships.

WHAT YOU CAN GAIN?

  • Joy and energy for life
  • A sense of being cared for
  • Understanding your defense mechanisms
  • Concrete ideas for changing yourself, relationships, life
  • Relief and emotional calm

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We will sit in a circle — time to share stories, pain and hope. During the two days each person will have individual work with a therapist with group participation; the possibility to “meet” the mother and/or father and heal emotions and beliefs connected to those relationships. The workshop may evoke various, including difficult, emotions. We guarantee conscious, attentive and compassionate accompaniment.

HOSTS

Justyna Masella Praszyńska and Roman Praszyński — a couple of therapists with many years of experience. Both come from families with alcohol problems and have experience working with issues of violence and neglect. Our original method is PROCESS CONSTELLATIONS (psychodrama, process psychology, elements of shamanism), process accompaniment and work with parts of the personality.
