The Institute of Musicology at Jagiellonian University and the Student Scientific Circle of Musicology at Jagiellonian University invite you to the 16th National Meeting of Musicology Students, which will take place on 22–23 May 2026 in Kraków.
The idea of the annual Meetings, organized since 2009, is to create a space for young researchers from various centers to present the results of their own research, and to provide a place for discussion and integration of the student community.
We are open to traditional topics associated with musicology and ethnomusicology, as well as issues related to psychology and sociology of music, biomusicology and digital musicology in an interdisciplinary context:
Participation in the conference is free of charge. The time allocated for one presentation is 15 minutes. We reserve the right to select the submitted abstracts — they will be anonymized and evaluated by representatives of the Student Scientific Circle of Musicology at Jagiellonian University and academic staff of the Institute of Musicology at Jagiellonian University.
The application deadline is 12 April 2026. We will inform you by email about acceptance by 30 April 2026. Note: for organizational reasons, we also ask those interested in passive participation to complete the form.
