II NATIONAL LINGUISTICS SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE AT THE FACULTY OF POLONISTICS, JAGIELLONIAN UNIVERSITY

The Student Linguists' Scientific Circle of the Jagiellonian University named after Mieczysław Karaś and the UJ Communication Scientific Circle invite all interested parties — students and doctoral candidates — to take part in the second National Linguistics Scientific Conference. The event aims to create a space for discussion, exchange of ideas, and presentation of ongoing research.
Date: 1-2 June 2026
Place: Kraków, ul. Gołębia 16, room 42 (Faculty of Polonistics building)
Those interested are invited to register their participation using the registration form. The form will be open until 1 May 2026. Please remember that presentations should last a maximum of 20 minutes.
The conference scope broadly covers linguistics, including (among others):
- analysis of language in media and social communication
- history of the language and etymological issues
- language in cultural and social contexts
- corpus and computational linguistics
- pragmatic linguistics and discourse analysis
- psycholinguistics and philosophy of language
- rhetoric
- semantics and lexicology
- sociolinguistics, dialectology and ethnolinguistics
- contemporary problems of the Polish language
