About the event

Inspirations are meetings with people who have long observed cities and architecture, document them through photography and share their discoveries with others. We listen about their working methods and get a glimpse into their craft.

Tomasz Liboska lives in Chorzów in Upper Silesia. He graduated in cultural anthropology from the University of Silesia in Cieszyn and from the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava (Czech Republic). For over 10 years he has been working on projects devoted to Silesia. His exhibitions have been presented, among others, during the Month of Photography in Kraków and at festivals in Hereford, New York, Athens and Belfast. He has published in, among others, The New York Magazine, GEO, Newsweek, La Repubblica, Polityka, Duży Format, VICE, Feature Shoot and LensCulture. He is a winner and finalist of many international awards and scholarships, including LensCulture Visual Storytelling Awards, Leica Oskar Barnack Award, PDN Photo Annual and Photolucida Critical Mass.
