By Storm, that is 2/3 of the rap group Injury Reserve, will perform on April 14 at the BARdzo Bardzo club in Warsaw!
Injury Reserve were a real phenomenon on the independent rap scene in the latter half of the previous decade. The Arizona lineup consisted of Stepa J. Groggs, Ritchie with a T and producer Parker Corey. After a series of well-received EPs and mixtapes (including “Live From the Dentist Office”, “Flood” and “Drive It Like It’s Stolen”) they released their debut album in 2019 on Loma Vista Recordings.
In 2020 Groggs unexpectedly died, and Ritchie and Parker decided to close that chapter by releasing material recorded before their friend’s death, “By The Time I Get To Phoenix”, and by touring alongside, among others, black midi and IDLES. In 2023 they decided to continue their journey as By Storm. Their first album under that name, “My Ghosts Go Ghost”, has just been released and if you look for light experiments in rap, you won’t be disappointed. On April 14 the duo will come to Warsaw to perform at BARdzo Bardzo!
