Atmosphere, icons of American independent rap, performing in Poland! The duo Slug and Ant will play on May 2 at the Oczki club in Warsaw accompanied by special guests: Sage Francis and ZooDeVille.
This year the Minneapolis duo Atmosphere celebrates three decades defending independent rap. From their debut Overcast! to last year’s Gestures, Slug and Ant have steadily built their position by combining personal, emotionally charged verses with melodic backdrops drawing from hip‑hop, soul, funk, rock and reggae. Their work remains authentic and uncompromising, and Slug and Ant are co‑founders of the legendary Rhymesayers Entertainment label.
Sage Francis is one of the most important figures in alternative rap of the last two decades, valued for his literary style, sharp storytelling and uncompromising honesty. A winner of freestyle battles (including Scribble Jam) and founder of Strange Famous Records.
ZooDeVille is a multidisciplinary artist from Los Angeles who blends music with visuals and creative work; his sets bring fresh energy and a modern approach to hip‑hop — an ideal opening for the evening at Oczki club.
