Group for Mums Many languages, one family Who is it for? For parents and caregivers who: - are part of a family where different cultures, languages, and traditions meet, - are in a relationship with someone from another country or cultural background, - are raising children in a spirit of multilingualism and multiculturalism, - experience tensions, misunderstandings, or challenges in combining two (or more) worlds. About the group A multicultural family is a unique space – rich, diverse, and… full of everyday challenges. Do you experience tensions or difficulties in merging two (or more) worlds? Do you feel it’s hard to communicate amidst a maze of different languages and worldviews? Are you wondering how to deal with differences in parenting styles, communication, and language challenges? Are you looking for support in understanding yourself and your family dynamics, and how to nurture your children's cultural identity? Do you feel that your understanding of the role of a parent or partner differs from that of your partner who was raised in another culture? Do you need to regain balance and a sense of agency in your everyday family life? Join our meetings! Group is a safe space where you can finally pause, explore your needs, emotions, and struggles, and speak them out loud – among people who, just like you, are raising children in multicultural families.
