About the band:
Totentanz — rock
A rock band from Tarnów, founded in 2005. Since 2007, with the release of the album “Nieból”, regarded as one of the important rock records in Poland. The band has released four albums (“Nieból”, “Zimny dom”, “Inni”, “Człowiek”) and a DVD “Live” — a concert featuring the Tarnów Chamber Orchestra.
For the album “Zimny dom” the band received a Fryderyk Award nomination (2009). Totentanz has performed at prestigious festivals (including Hunter Fest, Węgorzewo Festival, Mech Day Festival, Energy Festival, Śnieżka Czad Festival, Wataha Fest in Norway) and in radio concerts, e.g. at the Agnieszka Osiecka Studio on Program 3 of Polish Radio.
In 2025 the band celebrated its 20th anniversary, marked by concerts and the release of the double live album “Totentanz prawie Akustycznie”. Totentanz offers an energetic rock spectacle; repertoire includes e.g. “Eutanazja”, “Poza wszystkim”, “Zawołać”, “Walcz”.
