Valentine's Sweatshirt Sewing with Personalized Embroidery

What will you learn during the course?

• how to take accurate measurements and adjust sizing
• cutting fabric and working with knitwear
• basic operation of a coverstitch machine, overlocker and computerized embroidery machine
• working with commercial patterns and creating your own modifications
• sewing a sweatshirt with an elastic stitch
• correctly inserting cuffs
• designing a simple personalized embroidery (e.g. name, date, short text or symbol)

At the end you will leave the class with a finished sweatshirt sewn by you, with a durable embroidery that gives it an individual character. The workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate participants; no prior sewing experience is required. Each participant has access to a sewing machine, a set of sewing accessories and high-quality cotton knit fabric in several color options.
