Free admission – registration required via the link below The Circle of Social Activists is an initiative for people working in non-governmental organizations, activists, social workers, and third sector managers who want to pause and talk about what they experience in their work. The meetings are a safe and empathetic space to share emotions, experiences, difficulties, and joys related to social work. It’s a time to talk about what’s inside us – about satisfaction, mission, and sense of purpose, but also about fatigue, emotional burden, and everyday challenges. It’s a place where you can share your experiences in an authentic atmosphere and be heard without judgment or advice. The main goal is not professional networking or exchanging best practices (we encourage that after the Circle) – but above all, building community and the opportunity to be heard by people who 'understand what it’s like.' The Circle does not replace therapy but can have a therapeutic effect based on being heard by the group. The Circles of Social Activists are inspired by the formula of Young Adults Circles held at Varsztatovnia and operate in the same format – based on simple, clear rules co-created at the beginning of the meeting, democracy, an atmosphere of safety and respect, and the possibility for each participant to speak freely and without interruption. If you don’t want to say anything at the circle and just come to listen – that’s perfectly fine too. What does the meeting look like? - We meet in a group of a dozen or so people. - At the beginning, together with the moderator, we set rules that help create an understanding and safe atmosphere. - Then we introduce ourselves and share our expectations and motivations. - Once we get to know each other a bit better, we move on to the main circle practice – everyone gets space for a calm, uninterrupted statement with the support of the moderator. Participation in the Circle is free – registration required below. ⭐ REGISTER via the form on the website: https://varsztatovnia.pl/warsztaty/warszawa-krag-spolecznikow/
