    About the event

In the academic year 2025/2026, we will delve into the Corpus Joanneum – the writings of St. John the Apostle. Together, we will uncover the extraordinary depth of the Gospel of John, the Johannine Letters, and Revelation. This will be a journey through texts that are among the most spiritual and mystical in the entire Bible. We will explore John's symbolism and language, his theology of light and life, his vision of the Church, and the message of hope carried by Revelation. Detailed topics and meeting dates can be found below. Do you want to understand the Word of God more deeply? Do the texts of St. John seem full of mysterious images and symbols to you? Or perhaps you have read the Gospel of John and wondered why it is so different from the other Gospels? What do Jesus' signs mean? How should we understand the Eucharistic discourse in Capernaum, the high priestly prayer, or the vision of Revelation? You will find answers to these and many other questions during this year's series of lectures and biblical meetings organized at the Warsaw Archcathedral and on YouTube. Fr. Maciej Jaszczołt, vicar of the archcathedral parish, biblical scholar, and experienced guide to the Holy Land, invites you on a fascinating journey through the Johannine writings. Through shared reading and reflection, you will discover the spiritual depth of the fourth Gospel, the power and relevance of the Letters, and the hope carried by Revelation. This is an invitation to read the Bible not only with the mind but also with the heart – to experience your faith more fully. 📅 Meetings at the Archcathedral of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw – on selected days, after the evening Mass, at 7:45 PM.
