Author's art history course by Przemysław Głowacki 📅 Semester I: October 14 – February 17 📅 Semester II: February 24 – May 26 We invite you to unique meetings with art during the 2025/2026 school year! As part of the original lecture series by art historian Przemysław Głowacki, we will delve into the fascinating history of painting, sculpture, and architecture – from prehistory to the present day. Our meetings will be an opportunity to learn about the most important movements and styles, famous works, and renowned artists. The lectures will allow participants not only to organize their knowledge but also to discover the broader context of the creation of works and their significance in history. We will also consider to what extent the accepted canon changes and how it has evolved recently. Special attention will be given to women artists, whose work, forgotten for years, is now being rediscovered. The course will be an excellent resource for students planning to take the art history exam or preparing to apply to art schools. We also warmly invite all individuals interested in art and appreciating its beauty. After participating in the series of meetings, everyone will be able to better understand works of art and notice details that often escape us during a cursory glance. Art museum and gallery enthusiasts will surely find visiting exhibitions even more satisfying. Przemysław Głowacki's original lectures will be a great opportunity for reflection on art, its transformations over the centuries, and the expansion of the existing canon. Can it be changed?
