How did the first taxis and public transport operate in the rebuilding capital? What equipment abandoned by the Germans was used in the first post-war years? Jerzy Lemański – historian, expert and enthusiast of automotive history, member of the expert team at the National Museum of Technology – will present the history of transport and motoring, based on photographs shown at the exhibition "Warsaw Anew" and the automotive realities of 1945–1949. Don't miss the lecture – you'll learn what equipment from American transports for the USSR ultimately ended up in Warsaw, how the first attempts to launch local automotive production unfolded, and how the first car route from east to west of the city was created. We invite all automotive enthusiasts!
