    About the event

    We invite you to three autumn Varsavianist meetings with Jarosław Kaczorowski, during which we will listen to fascinating stories about the old life of Kamionek and Grochów — about the people, factories, schools, and transportation that co-created the unique atmosphere of Praga-Południe. Dates and venues: 🗓️ - October 22, 2025, 5:00 PM “The former industry of Kamionek and Grochów” Branch at 5 Majdańska Street 🗓️ - November 5, 2025, 5:00 PM “Is it far from here to the center, or the old transportation in Kamionek and Grochów” Branch at 46 Paca Street 🗓️ - November 26, 2025, 5:00 PM “Old schools, houses, estates, and residents of Kamionek and Grochów” Branch at 46 Paca Street Host: Jarosław Kaczorowski – Varsavianist, researcher of Praga’s history, and promoter of knowledge about Warsaw. Free admission! We warmly invite all lovers of Warsaw’s history and residents who want to better get to know their neighborhood and discover its extraordinary past. The meetings are held as part of the “Atmospheric Praga-Południe” project, financed by the Municipal Revitalization Program of the City of Warsaw until 2030.
