This meeting is for you if you are experiencing loss and going through grief — this may be loss due to the death of a loved one, divorce, loss of health, sense of security, or an important life stage.

This meeting is for you if you want to better understand what is happening inside you — in your emotions, body, and thoughts.

This meeting is for you if you want to learn how to support and accompany a person who is in such a process.

This meeting is for you if you work with people (in church, education, care) and want to learn how to be present with suffering.

• Grief stages — myths vs. reality
• Accompanying suffering — how to support yourself and others?
• Reactions of the body and psyche to loss
• How not to fear difficult emotions?
• Communication in the face of loss: what to say and what to avoid

• The role of self-therapy and professional support in the healing process
• Life “after” — integrating loss and building a new everyday life

Dr. Katarzyna Rojewska — MD, specialist in clinical psychology, clinical psychology supervisor, specialist in child and adolescent psychotherapy, certified specialist in milieu therapy, psychotherapist. Head of the Central Clinical Psychology Laboratory at Clinical Hospital No. 1 named after Prof. Szyszko ŚUM in Katowice; head of specialization training in clinical psychology within SP SK 1 in Zabrze; clinical psychologist in the Department of Cardiac Surgery, Mechanical Circulatory Support and Pediatric Heart Transplantation at SCCS in Zabrze. Co-founder and co-owner of the Systemic Therapy and Psychological Assistance Center “DIADA” in Gliwice. Assistant professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Psychology program, University of Silesia in Katowice; head of postgraduate studies in clinical psychology of children and adolescents at SWPS University in Katowice. Author of scientific works and textbooks in the field of mental health.
