Create a unique culinary notebook with a collage-style cover.
In the age of online recipes it might seem that something like a “recipe book” is unnecessary. But we want to encourage you to make your own analog culinary notebook where you can write down family recipes for your grandmother’s best yeast cake or your mother’s perfect lazy dumplings.
We will work in the collage technique to create a personalized cover. We will draw inspiration from the latest exhibition about Bielany gastronomy in the PRL era hosted in our space. Old photos, colorful magazines and decorative papers will be available.
Afterwards each participant will bind the cover and blank pages by themselves using a metal spiral.
All materials will be available on site, but we also encourage you to bring your own photos if you would like to incorporate them into the cover.
The workshop accompanies the exhibition “Leniwe raz! Gastronomia na Bielanach w czasach PRL”.
