Kraków: NO EXIT - two-weekend theatrical improvisation workshop

A group of friends in one place. Gradually, long‑nurtured animosities come to light.

No Exit is a format in which, throughout the performance, we do not change location, characters, or make time jumps. How do you make a one‑hour show based on such a structural framework engaging for the audience and enjoyable for the improvisers to play?

During this course:

• you will learn the No Exit format inside out
• you will learn to create distinct characters
• you will discover the secrets of working with emotions during conflicts
• you will begin working with the temperature and pacing of a show
• you will master performing multi‑person scenes

Two‑person scenes go quite well for me and I usually have awareness of what is happening with me in them.

I have been doing improvisation since 2016, full‑time since 2019. I have attended dozens of workshops and intensives with trainers from around the world, including iO, The Second City, Hoopla! and UCB, as well as read many books, watched numerous shows and performed in many productions.

I developed on stage in several groups, also trios and duos, with which I practiced (and still practice) a variety of styles and improv formats. I started in Wrocław, then for 3 years I ran the Kuźnia Impro Improvisation School in Kraków. Currently my base of operations is in Warsaw, but I teach from beginners, train and coach across Poland.

I invite you into the world of unscripted theatre and to grow within it under the attentive and caring eye of Facetka.
