Musicians eagerly reach for ethnic wind instruments from various parts of the world, such as the duduk from Armenia, which has a history of over 1500 years, or the “gırnata”, the Turkish clarinet, mainly used in Turkish and Balkan music. Magdalena Este – vocalist, pianist, composer. She values the extraordinary ability of music to bring people together and enjoys sharing her passion and love for music with others. Her greatest educational achievement is heading the singing department at Vijaybhoomi University in India. She also has experience working with children, including conducting music workshops and participating in theatrical performances for children, as well as leading music classes in kindergartens and primary schools. Co-author of the Jazz for Children Quartet project. She leads her own Magdalena Este Trio, combining jazz with poetry, and is a member of Bogdan Hołownia’s band, with whom she recorded her latest album. Przemysław Skałuba – graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the clarinet class. Winner of many awards, including the Grand Prix at the Festival of Popular Music in Giżycko (in a duet with Rafał Grząka), 1st prize at the Wind Instruments Competition in the woodwind quintet category (Warsaw), Grand Prix of Polish Radio at the Wind Instruments Competition in the reed trio category (Warsaw). Leader and founder of the Przemysław Skałuba Trio, with which he performs jazz and world music.
