Walk in the Royal Łazienki Park

I invite you for a walk in the Royal Łazienki Park. 🌞 We meet on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM by the monument of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. The walk is planned to last about 1.5 hours. During the walk, we will learn, among other things: - Where was the Orthodox church once located in Łazienki? - What did the royal horse have on its rump? - Where did the hour of revenge strike? - Where were the largest kitchens in the country? - Where was the Chinese bridge located? - Whose life was attempted in Łazienki? - What event does the column with the eagle commemorate? - Where is the time boulder? - What was the game of Trou-Madame about? - Why didn't the Germans blow up the Island Theatre? - Which building was made to resemble the Roman tomb of Cecilia Metella on the Via Appia near Rome? - What is the dog doing in Łazienki? - Where was the Temple of Divine Providence supposed to stand? - and many more... There is no fee for participating in the walk, but if you feel the guide deserves a tip (...) The walk will be led by a city guide from Warszawski Zaułek. You are warmly invited and see you there.
