Al Di Meola, an American guitarist regarded as a pioneer of jazz, rock and world music, a true guitar hero and the recipient of many honors, will perform in Warsaw on 9 March.
Al Di Meola blends global jazz with other genres: flamenco, tango and Brazilian and African rhythms. His fascination with complex rhythmic synchronization, lyrical melody and sophisticated harmony is central to his work across a career spanning more than four decades. He has three gold albums and has sold over six million records worldwide.
The concert is part of a series of exclusive performances celebrating the 50th anniversary of his artistic career and the release of the new album 'twentyfour'.

SIESTA on the Road
The aim of SIESTA on the Road is to present live artists known from Marcin Kydryński’s Sunday radio show Pora Siesty and from the bestselling Siesta compilations (XX editions released so far). The host and artistic director of SIESTA on the Road is Marcin Kydryński, a broadcaster, lyricist and composer, record producer and photographer, and co-organizer of the Siesta Festival in Gdańsk.
SIESTA on the Road has hosted world-famous stars such as: Pat Metheny, Bobby McFerrin & Chick Corea and Dianne Reeves. The project has also featured Richard Bona, Ana Moura, Camane, Tito Paris, Sara Tavares, Lura, Mayra Andrade, Tcheka, Elida Almeida, Yami, Nancy Vieira, Lucibela, Marcio Farco and Dino Di Santiago.
In Siesta, the blending of cultures, the erasure of borders while respecting regional traditions and reconciliation beyond historical divisions are, alongside the music, the most valuable values.
