GET INTO IT - Wheel-Throwing Pottery Workshop Level 1

In this workshop we will introduce you to the world of wheel throwing. You will acquire the skills to create basic forms such as a bowl and a cylinder, which will be an excellent start to your pottery journey and a foundation for further independent improvement.

Program:

• selection of clay bodies suitable for wheel throwing
• techniques for preparing clay for throwing and its recycling
• practical information about available tools and pottery wheels
• modeling and wheel tools
• learning to center and throw basic forms — bowl and cylinder
• decorating techniques (trimming, forming a foot, decoration by carving)
