    About the event

Anna Chudzik-Pawlik / SOLITONY / 📍 Żeromski Park / Southern Powder Magazine 📅 The exhibition is open during events at the Southern Powder Magazine from 20.08 to 18.09.2025 Detailed schedule of Southern Powder Magazine events available at: https://zoliborskidomkultury.pl/prochownia-poludniowa 🎟️ Free admission "Solitony" is a project that delves into the invisible world of waves, vibrations, and energy. It creates a space where time, place, and memory merge into an infinite network of relationships. Inspired by both mythology and the latest discoveries in quantum physics, the performance and exhibition pose questions about how we are interconnected with each other, the past, and the future. At the heart of the project lies the concept of solitons – waves that, despite changing conditions, retain their identity and form, much like human relationships that endure over time despite external turbulence. This phenomenon becomes a metaphor for the durability of connections we create – not only between ourselves but also with nature, the earth, and the micro and macro cosmos. A red thread – the central element in the Japanese myth of the red thread of destiny – appears here as a symbol of invisible bonds that connect people, places, and ideas, like vibrating waves. As in mythology, the path of each thread is predetermined, and its entanglement causes changes that, though difficult to grasp, carry irreversible energy. Wave and vibrational phenomena intertwine with the language of sounds – which during the performance serves not only as a form of communication but also materializes in space as energy waves, resonating with the surroundings and creating a bond between the artist's body and the audience. Sound becomes a medium that opens a field for mutual interaction, influencing our perception of reality. References to quantum physics add another dimension to this project: the world at the subatomic level is non-local, full of phenomena that defy our traditional understanding of space and time. In this context, the artist's works are just one of many points in a complex network of mutual relationships that transcend physical boundaries, influencing the morphic field – the collective consciousness of humanity, preserving the shared memory of our past and future experiences. "Solitony" thus becomes not only a metaphor for connection but also an attempt to understand how our individual experiences intertwine with the world. How sounds, waves, and energy can lead to new forms of communication and closeness. --- Anna Chudzik-Pawlik is a visual artist and performer. She creates illustrations and objects using traditional collage techniques, often incorporating photographs of her own face and embroidery. In her performances, she addresses feminist, ecological, mystical, and spiritual themes. She participated in the I and II International Festival of Performing Arts in Płock (2024, 2025) and Butohpolis – International Butoh Art Festival in Warsaw (2023, 2024).
