Voice Progress trainer trainings are very intensive experiences in which coaches almost isolate themselves from the outside world, focusing on deepening their understanding of voice function and teaching.
- HOW DOES THE VOICE WORK? — Two points of view: medical and vocal. Differences in perspective help better understand how the voice works, which allows for more effective teaching.
- TRENDS — General tendencies that happen to singers. Because of voice capabilities, seven tendencies are distinguished; combined with knowledge about voice function, this gives awareness of how to address vocal problems.
- DIAGNOSIS — How to precisely diagnose what is happening in a singer’s voice and what tendencies they have.
- TOOLS — Knowledge of four basic tools will help control any tendency. Regardless of the student’s level, these tools will enable scale opening, increase vocal comfort, and support reconstruction and rehabilitation of damaged voices.
- VOWEL — The most powerful and often underestimated teacher’s tool. Knowledge of specific vowels allows immediate effect, and implementing appropriate habits consolidates the effect and prevents future difficulties.
- VOICE REHABILITATION — Discussion of causes and courses of the most common voice disorders (e.g., incomplete closure, singing nodules). Instructions on how to work with such cases: what to do and what to avoid.
- PEDAGOGY — How to reach the student so that the material is as absorbable as possible; understanding the singer’s mental and emotional state is often the key to improving their vocal health.
