Wandy 9 apt. 13 Saska Kępa, Warsaw. The paintings are part of the cycle ME. She. HER. Created in the years: 2022 and 2023. Portraits of women, nudes, treated by the artist as a metaphor for various emotional processes, as a reality that is simultaneously physical and psychological. Quoting Maria Poprzęcka, referring in her dissertation “The Nude - an imperfect form” to Lynda Nead: “The female nude can be considered a metaphor for processes of separation, ordering, and the formation of the »self« and the space of the »other«.
