About the event

We invite everyone who creates prose or poetry — and those who want to listen and support creators — to take part in the literary club meetings. We want to create a space to present your own texts, talk and exchange experiences. We believe works written “for the drawer” deserve attentive readers, and that sharing creativity helps develop craft and artistic courage.

Our aim is to build a community of people seeking their own expressive voice — sensitive to the world, its changes and emotions. Meetings will be an opportunity to popularize amateur literary creation, develop imagination and integrate the community of writers and readers. The club’s format will be co-created by participants — we are open to ideas and the group’s needs, because we believe creativity is one of life’s most beautiful adventures.

Lead by: Iwona Wernikowska — a graduate of philosophy from the Jagiellonian University, associated with Podgórze for nearly forty years. Author of plays staged by repertory theatres and independent ensembles as well as theatres for people with disabilities. She creates radio play scripts, podcasts and outdoor games devoted to the history of Podgórze, and has cooperated with, among others, the Krakow Philharmonic and the Podgórze Museum. Author of entries in the “Lexicon of Podgórze” and of original themed walks.

The meeting lasts from 16:00 to 17:30. Free admission!
