About the event

Student Scientific Circle “TEA” together with the Institute of Special Pedagogy at APS cordially invite you to the 2nd National Scientific Conference “Different minds, shared space — neurodiversity in preschool and school”.

Date: 16–17 April 2026.
Location: Maria Grzegorzewska University of Special Education, Szczęśliwicka 40, 02-353 Warsaw

The conference is scientific in nature and provides a space for meetings between the academic community and practitioners who work daily with children and youth in the education system. Its aim is to disseminate current knowledge about neurodiversity and deepen the understanding of the needs of students who function in diverse cognitive, emotional and social ways.

Such an interdisciplinary meeting encourages reflection on effective strategies for communication, diagnosis and everyday work with children and students with neurodiversity, as well as on the challenges that arise in educational practice. It is a place for in-depth discussion on how to create a shared, safe and supportive educational space in which diversity is not a barrier but a value that supports the development of the whole educational community.

Programme includes:

  • plenary sections
  • poster session

After the event, participants will receive a certificate confirming participation in the conference.
