CELEBRATE THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NURT FOUNDATION WITH US!!! We will be delighted to host friendly, collaborating, supporting individuals, as well as those who want to get to know us. Those who flow with Nurt more or less often, those who have entered the same river more than once, and those observing from the shore. The event is open and free! 📅 WHEN: October 4-5 📍 WHERE: Centrum Łowicka - ul. Łowicka 21, Warsaw We are deeply grateful to Centrum Łowicka for hosting our event within its premises! PROGRAM: 1. MEETING - an opportunity to get to know each other, hear about Nurt's mission, history, and activities, as well as engage in casual conversations, drink tea, and spend time together. During the meeting, there will also be screenings of short videos from the Ecosomatic May Weekend in Teremiski, the Microbiota Laboratory, and the performative action Resisting Extinction. 2. WORKSHOPS - somatic bodywork, somatic movement. We invite you to experiences based on the Body-Mind Centering approach and dance improvisation. The workshops will explore the fluidity of our bodies and movement, as well as aquatic support. The workshops are tailored to various levels of advancement. (details coming soon) 3. HYDRO JAM “Oceanic Frolics” - a performative jam with live music in an oceanic atmosphere. We invite you to co-create with your body, movement, feeling, objects, installations, sound, text, humor, images, and space. Participate through action or inaction, interaction or observation, moving or lying down, sensory engagement or resting. 🎭 DRESS CODE (for the jam): Oceanic-themed costumes are highly encouraged! Any interpretation is welcome. It can be eccentric, abstract, fashionable, humorous, queer, artistic, dressing up as a sea creature, makeup, accessories, or simply clothing colors. At the foundation, we value the combination of existential depth and absurd humor! 🎵 Musical layer: Improvised, oceanic vocal-instrumental composition created by a voice researcher and author of the world's first book on pulsation phonation, the primal sound used for communication by sea creatures and humans before we could speak. FACILITATORS: Angelika Mizińska, Natalia Oniśk, Tomek Jagusztyn-Krynicki, Julia Dzichkouskaya, and Nieszka Bogusławska - a group of educators collaborating within the foundation since 2021. Live music during the jam - Francesco Venturi - initiator of the Ecovocality project, a collaboration between the Nurt Foundation and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Voice (CRIV).
